Synopsis
Ten-year-old Chihiro Ogino stumbles into a spirit world while moving with her parents. When her parents are transformed into pigs for their greed, Chihiro must work at Yubaba’s bathhouse to survive and save them, encountering various spirits along the way and growing into a brave young woman.

Chihiro transforms from a willful, pampered girl into a brave, independent young woman. No-Face’s loneliness, Haku’s sacrifice, and Boiler爷爷’s kindness all carry deep symbolism.
The film’s presentation of traditional Japanese culture is breathtaking. From the bathhouse architecture to the spirit designs, it’s filled with rich Eastern aesthetics. Joe Hisaishi’s score adds endless charm to the work.
